Goldfish Deluxe Slot Bonuses and Features
Fish Food Bonus. This is triggered by the scatter symbol Fish Food, which offers different rewards based on how many are scattered. 3 awards just the Fish Food Bonus, 4 awards the bonus and 10x total bet, while 5 awards the bonus and a massive 100x total bet. You are given 7 picks in this game to reveal a character. Below is a list of the rewards for each character picked the first and second time based on just ‘One Goldfish’ activated, if two or three goldfish are activated then the credit reward is higher:
- Gold Fish – 100 credits
- Red Fish – 75 credits
- Purple Fish – 50 credits
- Blue Fish – 40 credits
- Green Fish – 30 credits
- Crab – 25 credits
- Hermit Crab – 20 credits
- Jellyfish – 20 credits
The third pick of each of these characters will award a significantly higher credit prize, as well as 3 additional picks. This applies to having more Goldfish activated also.
If a Green Turtle is picked, and at least 1 character above has already been picked but not closed out, then one of the Fish Food shakers hiding a character is selected, excluding the Green Turtle. If not, then any unpicked Food Shaker can be chosen. If all 3 Green Turtles are picked, then choose one of them for a credit prize between 150 and 1000 credits, or 1500 credits for Two or Three Goldfish activated. If there are enough picks to reveal all the Food Shakers, the game will pick them automatically, and you can receive a huge reward between 1000 and 7500 credits.
Fish Bonuses. There are five Fish Bonuses available which can activate after any wagered spin:
- Gold Fish Bonus. Pick a bubble to reveal a number of free spins between 5 and 20. On a winning combination, choose a multiplier of 2x-10x which applies on that spin only. If a starfish is revealed with the multiplier, then you will receive an additional 3 spins with the multiplier applied.
- Red Fish Bonus. 1 free spin is awarded. Between 2 and 10 Wilds are randomly added to the reels. After they stop, another 2-10 Wilds may be added to reels 2-4. If these cover a Wild that was already there, it becomes a 2x Wild, paying 2x for any winning combination.
- Purple Fish Bonus. Here you must choose 3 of the 10 bubbles presented to you, each having a number between 0 and 9. The numbers you choose will create a number multiplied by the bet multiplier before being awarded. If it matches the match number exactly, then a crazy 10,000 credits multiplied by the bet multiplier is awarded.
- Blue Fish Bonus. 2-4 free spins will be awarded.
- Green Fish Bonus. Select one of the 10 bubbles, revealing a credit award, award all and pick again, or award all, award all and pick again which awards all the credit awards in the unpicked bubbles and a pick of a new bubble.
Conclusion
I think Goldfish Deluxe slot is a brilliant game from WMS, who have used a classic slot and really jazzed it up. There are a lot of bonuses in this game, some of which can be hugely rewarding, but they also help keep the game engaging and interesting. The theme ties in nicely with this, offering smooth, relaxing animations and in general a nice environment to play slots. It’s definitely a thumbs up for me, and comes well recommended.
