As the name suggests, the characters in this slot are furry little birds, and I get the impression they have drawn inspiration here from the popular mobile game, which even became a movie, Angry Birds. Feathered Friends Slot Bonuses and Features
Wild Feature. During any base game this feature may be triggered, covering positions on up to 5 reels on the screen with Wild. If this covers the Bird Bonus or Free Games symbol, then these change and become Wild for Wild and the corresponding bonus. When Feathered Friends Better Bonuses is active, then if 1 reel is covered, up to an additional 9 positions may also be covered. If 2 or 3 reels are covered, then up to 2 additional positions may be covered. Between 4 and 9 positions are covered by Wild if Feathered Friends Better Bonuses is active, and between 4 and 10 if it isn’t. This feature will occur more frequently when Feathered Friends Better Bonuses is active, and is not available during the Free Games Bonus.
Bird Bonus. This is triggered by 3 scattered Bird Bonus symbols on reels 2, 3 and 4. When Feathered Friends is active, 3 picks are awarded, and when Feathered Friends Better Bonuses is active, you will be awarded with 4 picks. The idea is to pick 1 out of 6 birds, which will then award you with a credit amount between 25 and 484, and a multiplier between 2x and 10x, giving a total win between 50 and 4840 credits. The awards displayed during the bonus have already been multiplied by the multiplier, and not all combinations of credits and multipliers are available.
Free Games Bonus. This is triggered by 3 or more scattered Free Games symbols, which awards 8, 16 or 24 free games for 3, 4 or 5 symbols respectively when Feathered Friends is active. If Feathered Friends Better Bonuses is active, then 3, 4 or 5 symbols will award 10, 20 or 30 games, respectively. When an Egg symbol appears on reel 5 during any free game, it’s collected into a nest , and when Feathered Friends Better Bonuses is active, 2 of these Eggs are collected at the start of the bonus. Overall, Feathered Friends slot is a fairly solid game from Bally that’s clearly aimed at a more casual player. This is noticeable from the theme itself, which is generally quit calm and relaxing, although fun at times especially with the animations during the Bird Bonus, but also down to the mechanics of the game play itself.
