Open the Vault Deluxe slot comes to you from WMS, featuring two main bonuses consisting of free spins and a wheel bonus with some big rewards available. Although based on the original Open the Vault slot, this deluxe version is very different and certainly more modern.
Housed in the Blade s32 cabinet, just like Hot Hot 8 slot, Open the Vault Deluxe slot features 2 wide panels with high definition displays, with the bottom display featuring the 6×4 grid, and the top display used to showcase the many wheels and progressives to aim towards. Open the Vault Deluxe Slot Bonuses and Features
Bonus Wheel Feature. 3 or more scattered vault symbols will trigger the Bonus Wheel Feature. 3 alone will just activate the feature, 4 will activate the feature plus 10x total bet, 5 offers 50x total bet, and 6 offers 100x total bet as well as of course the Bonus Wheel Feature. During this bonus, you will be offered a single wheel spin, after which another is awarded until the bonus ends. With each spin, 1 out of the 6 wheels will spin landing which could land on either collect, which will end the bonus, or jackpot which locks the jackpot colour of that wheel. If all 3 jackpot colours are locked, then the bonus ends. It only appears on the wheel at max bet, and only on the outer wheels. If any jackpot colours are locked at the end of the bonus, then the corresponding meter is awarded. Red, White and Blue jackpots are all comprised of a fixed award and increment, and can award the following:

Conclusion
Open the Vault Deluxe slot takes an older slot, and rather than build on it slightly to modernize it and maybe add a couple of extra bonuses, WMS have created almost an entirely new slot and just used the same name. That’s not to say this is a bad slot, just to expect something different. There’s certainly a lot of wheel spinning involved here with some big rewards available if you advance enough, so I can certainly see that appealing to some. I think a bit more could have been done with the Free Spins Bonus, such as including some multipliers or sticky Wilds just to make it more interesting and offering a slightly better payout. Overall, this is an interesting and fairly engaging game that will appeal to some depending on what people are looking for in a slot.
